Unrepentant since 1984. Bite me.
Double Standards

So I was thinking earlier, the standards set in a relationship with the ‘what’s mine is yours and what’s yours is mine is pretty one sided.

Clothes

SHE

Can borrow your shirts, your jackets, your boxers (if you 2 are roughly the same size). Admit it. It’s cute seeing her in your favorite jersey and nothing else.

YOU

Can’t borrow practically any of her clothes. If someone sees you in them for anything other than a prank, you get labeled as a perv.

Stuff

SHE

Can be seen mucking around with the stuff you buy (mostly for you). Most guys love gamer girls. She’ll prolly have your DS for Cooking Mama and your PSP for Patapon. Catching your girl going through your D&D 3.5 books and drafting a character is a mixed blessing, but a blessing non the less. Your girl actually knowing what card you’re looking for for that brand new deck is awesome!

YOU

Should not, under any circumstances be caught dead with her Twilight Books, sex toys or yaoi manga. Never. Ever.

Household Stuff

SHE

can use anything you buy and bring home. She could use those power tools if she wanted to. They just aren’t practical right now.

YOU

can’t touch anything she brings home because it’s breakable/exotic/expensive/you have no damn use for it anyway.

Bathroom stuff

SHE

can use your soap, shampoo, toothpaste and whatnot. It’s all the same anyway. Oh, she also needs 90% of available surface space for all her bathroom stuff.

YOU

can’t use her shampoo cuz’ it’s got some special formula and it’s really expensive and you don’t need it cuz you’re a guy.

So. Where’s the equality in that, yo?

Who am I kidding? I love you anyway. ^_^
